Camera carried by William McKinney on the Bloody Sunday march.
William filmed many of the key events of the civil rights era. Including the Bloody Sunday march, during which he was shot dead directly in front of "The London Derry Museum." (McKinney Family).

Belt worn by Patrick Doherty on Bloody Sunday.
The notch on the back of the belt was caused by the bullet that killed him. (Doherty Family.)

Dear Mr and Mrs Wray (James and Sarah),
As I hold no regrets whatsoever for the death of your son James there doesn't be so much talk or fuss when some of the poor soldiers or policemen are brutally murdered in cold blood by the so called "Irish Rats Association". Yes, the "I.R.A." are the cowards, as your son was not shot by a cowards bullet, and he was not murdered, he was happily killed because he was a terrorist along with his other twelve Rebel friends.
Also remember that our troops are not serving on foreign grounds, Northern Ireland is a part of the "United Kingdom", so the army is at home on British Territory. If you don't like living in this country, why don't you then move south or west to the bloody Free State? There we wouldn't have to pay you out our welfare benefits and allowances which you are gladly accepting under "Her Majesty The Queen".
"May sweet Jesus have mercy on his soul", ha! ha! what a laugh, that's what it says at your son's death in the "Irish News", what you should have stated is this "May Hell Roast Him" and the rest of his mates.
Your son was a fucking bastard and a fenian cunt, he was full of hatred so he can say goodbye to glory. Your Rebel bastards are doomed.
"The Wray family", get out of your home or be burned out. Ulster is British, God Save the Queen. No Surrender.
Your enemies

One of the most iconic symbols of Bloody Sunday, the white handkerchief waved by Father (now Bishop) Daly as the body of Jackie Duddy was carried from where he was shot dead in the courtyard of Rossville Flats.
The handkerchief was passed on to Duddy family afterwards, and was carried everywhere by Jackie`s sister Kay. (Duddy Family.)

Dear Wives,
Further news: The Battalion is now preparing itself for the inquiry from England which is to be held soon. 1 PARA will surely emerge from close scrutiny of the events of Sunday with colours flying honorably as usual. The wicked propaganda directed against us may well be turned to increase our professional reputation.
"D" Company have now returned to Palace Barracks, they are unlikely to have any specific task today or tomorrow. "C" Company spent all night sorting out the barricades in ANDERSONSTOWN. There was nil reaction as they successfully completed this operation.
The remainder of the Battalion are staying at "DERRY" until at least Wednesday evening. This is to cover any reaction from the BOGSID during the first of the funerals which is planned for tomorrow.
Reminder: Block leave is just two weeks away.

- List of those killed on Bloody Sunday.
The confusion with the names and identities shows that the list was compiled in the hours immediately following the shooting.
- The Bloody Sunday funerals were expected to be hugely overcrowded, so tickets were given to the families to ensure that they could get into St Mary`s. (Kelly Family.)
